People Business Partner

Job Summary
Partner closely with managers and leaders to strengthen leadership capability, decision-making, and accountability while coaching them to handle people matters with greater confidence and commercial awareness. Support leaders through complex challenges including team effectiveness, performance concerns, and organizational change, and design practical enablement initiatives to improve leadership across client groups. Strengthen performance management practices across the employee lifecycle, support calibration and talent discussions, and identify succession gaps to build capability pipelines. Partner with leaders on organizational design, diagnose friction points impacting performance, and lead people-related workstreams within transformation initiatives. Manage complex employee relations matters across multiple jurisdictions with procedural rigour, advise on labour law considerations, and ensure decisions are defensible and aligned to standards. Use people data, trends, and organizational insights to support decision-making, analyze indicators such as attrition and engagement, and leverage technology and automation to improve processes. Surface organizational health risks early and collaborate with the wider People team to ensure practices support a high-performing, sustainable culture.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years experience in People Business Partnering or equivalent strategic HR roles
- Experience operating within scaling, global, and/or remote-first organisations
- Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing capability across multiple leadership levels
- Confidence managing complex performance, organisational change, and employee relations matters
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance people impact, operational realities, and business priorities
- Strong judgement, communication, and relationship-building capability
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping build structure in evolving environments
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capability, with an ability to identify scalable solutions rather than short-term fixes
- Digitally fluent with curiosity around technology, AI-enabled tools, automation, and the future of work within People functions
- Data-informed mindset with the ability to translate people insights into practical recommendations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Technology organisations is advantageous
