Job Summary
As a People Business Partner for the Northeast, you’ll partner with hospital leaders, nursing managers, and medical directors to drive the People strategy across the region. You’ll use data and relationship-driven partnerships to influence decisions, participate in business rhythms like MBRs, travel weekly to hospitals to maintain a field presence, and lead the development and execution of annual HR processes (performance reviews, succession planning, development planning, engagement surveys, retention initiatives, and compensation reviews). You’ll coach leaders to build organizational capability, guide leaders through sensitive employee moments, ensure policy and legal adherence (EEO, ADA, FMLA), and turn engagement and performance trends into practical recommendations. This role requires comfort traveling up to 50–70% and a strong ability to balance compassion with accountability while preserving VEG’s culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field preferred; 4+ years of progressive HR experience with an HRBP focus; PHR or SHRM-CP and Workday experience a plus
