Job Summary
Design and ship AI-powered workflows, agents, and automations using tools like Claude Code, Zapier, and Ashby to eliminate manual lift across Recruiting and People operations. Own the Dust agent architecture by building skills and connectors for recruiters and hiring managers, while translating one-off ideas into durable, documented production workflows. Proactively prototype solutions for the recruiting funnel, from sourcing outreach to offer-to-hire handoffs, and partner with People Systems and Operations to structure knowledge bases that power these agents. Establish clear operating patterns for launching and maintaining automations, ensuring adoption and driving team AI fluency through shared best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
- Hands-on experience building AI workflows, automations, or agents in a business operations context
- Experience with Claude Code or similar AI builder/operator environments
- Proven ability to translate messy, manual business processes into scalable, adopted workflows or internal tools
- Technical builder instincts in an operations environment
- Experience working inside Recruiting/Talent, People, HR, or Recruiting functions with non-technical stakeholders
- Sound judgment on when AI is the right tool versus standard automation, scripts, or process redesign
- Track record of driving adoption of what you build
- Comfortable with ambiguity
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ATS-driven workflows (Ashby or similar) is a strong plus
- Analytical or data science background is a plus
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
- Experience shipping things, not just prompting things
- Experience working with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience building and maintaining agents, skills, and connectors
- Experience building lightweight technical solutions using workflow builders, scripts, and integrations
- Experience partnering with People Systems on automations that touch system architecture or data structure
- Experience partnering with People Operations on workflow automations
- Experience partnering with broader Recruiting & People Operations teams to structure and maintain the knowledge base
- Experience evaluating, piloting, and implementing new AI and workflow tools
- Experience establishing clear operating patterns for how automations and agents are launched, documented, and maintained
- Experience contributing to team AI fluency by sharing what you're building and what's working
- Experience using tools like Zapier, Checkr, Jira, HiBob, Workday, LinkedIn, TeamOhana, Juicebox, Confluence, or Guru
