Job Summary
Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files in compliance with federal and state regulations. Process biweekly 401k funding files, complete engagement platform tax and census data, and manage unemployment and employment verification programs. Serve as a point of contact for general HR questions regarding policies, benefits, and HRIS navigation while responding to teammate inquiries. Support employee relations processes by gathering information, scheduling meetings, and documenting follow-up actions. Coordinate required employee and leadership training, run I-9 and E-Verify audits, and assist with pre-employment screening processes. Uphold regulatory compliance for EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA while representing the organization at community events and internal gatherings.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through; able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Solid understanding of HR processes, basic employment laws, and compliance practices.
- Excellent communicator with a customer-service mindset and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Comfortable navigating HR technology systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrates discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.
- Education or training in Human Resources or a related field is a plus.
