Job Summary
Lead the hotel’s People & Culture strategy and operations to drive a positive, high-performance culture across all departments. Own the colleague experience from attraction through development, ensure compliance with UK employment law, and partner with the General Manager and department heads on succession planning, recruitment, employer branding, and internal development. Foster a coaching, inclusive culture; oversee onboarding, payroll, absence management, performance processes, wellbeing initiatives, learning and development, engagement surveys, and health and safety. Design and implement HR strategies aligned with Hyatt’s brand culture and RBH values, promoting diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership experience in HR/Hospitality
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee engagement, L&D
- Knowledge of UK employment law and compliance
- Ability to lead, coach, and influence across multiple departments
- Proactive and continuous improvement mindset
- Commitment to inclusion and wellbeing
- Experience with HR operations (onboarding, payroll, etc.) and HR systems
- Bachelor-like or equivalent in HR-related field not required to specify degree
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership
