Job Summary
People & Culture Consultant providing HR generalist support across employee relations, performance management, policy development, and recruitment for clients in Canada; deliver practical HR solutions, advise leaders on day-to-day HR issues and employment legislation, develop and review HR policies and employee manuals, and support client projects with a collaborative team; primarily remote with occasional on-site client visits.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources
- Minimum 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, and WorkSafeBC policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Collaborative, personable and highly accountable
- Comfortable stepping into complex and sensitive workplace situations
