Job Summary
Pensions Manager - Operations leads and oversees pensions administration and operational activities for UK pension schemes, ensuring service delivery meets standards and controls. Manages relationships with third‐party administrators and service providers, monitors performance, and resolves issues. Ensures compliance with pensions legislation, regulatory expectations and internal policies; drives continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, data quality and member experience. Provides people leadership, coaching and development within the operations function; acts as escalation point for complex operational or member issues. Requires strong knowledge of UK pension scheme operations, governance/risk requirements, experience leading operational teams and third‐party providers, and the ability to interpret policies and controls. Excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication, analytical skills to identify trends or risks, and ability to influence decision-making and collaboration across teams.
