Job Summary
As a Pensions Actuarial Consultant, you will develop and deliver customized advice and solutions for DB pension schemes, leading client meetings, providing tailored advice, and utilizing strong technical actuarial skills. Responsibilities include acting as a final technical reviewer, agreeing on strategy and resource management for client work, and mentoring junior colleagues. The role requires significant experience with trustees and/or corporates in an actuarial consultancy, excellent communication abilities, demonstrated business acumen, and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
- Fully qualified Actuary or nearing qualification
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical, numerical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage projects and distribution of work to junior colleagues
- Good understanding of a range of ways in which UK pension schemes operate
