Pension Payroll Specialist

Pension Payroll Support Specialist needed at Lauterbach & Amen, a well-established CPA firm, full-time role based in Naperville. Core duties include maintaining payroll information in the payroll system, calculating and verifying defined benefit pension values, processing payroll, answering hotline calls, electronic filing and records management, database management for payroll updates, client/pensioner correspondence, liaising with other departments on payroll questions, and handling additional projects as assigned. Requires 0-3 years’ payroll or bookkeeping experience, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and a collaborative, self-motivated mindset. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and a starting PTO of 4 weeks; salary range is $55,000–$60,000, with final offer based on location, experience, education, skill set, and certifications.
