Job Summary
Pension Analyst to administer member transactions, maintain client databases, perform year-end data quality checks, and support regulatory and client reporting requirements. Responsibilities include calculating pension adjustments (PA), pension adjustment reversals (PAR), and past service adjustments (PSPA); filing the Annual Information Return (AIR) and other regulatory forms; interpreting pension provisions under applicable legislation; responding to client and member inquiries; developing and presenting improved processes for plan issues; coordinating new business implementation with account management and implementation teams; and performing other team-focused tasks. Requires a post-secondary diploma, at least two years of pension administration experience, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication; CEBS designation is an asset; French proficiency is preferred; role is full-time and on-site with a focus on Ontario regulations and client service.--
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent training
- Minimum two years’ experience in pension benefits administration
- Understanding of group pension and benefits plan designs
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Preference for proficiency in French
- Successful completion of a cleared criminal background check
