Pension Analyst - Defined Benefit Core Markets

Job Summary
Analyze, lead, and drive operational services and efficiencies for Defined Benefit clients and the organization. Provide leadership on ad hoc projects requiring critical thinking, resolve escalated client or participant issues, and serve as the day-to-day contact for transaction and data questions. Facilitate client meetings, maintain direction documents, and own operational issues to recommend business solutions based on plan design and system functionality. Collaborate with internal teams to implement process changes driven by new regulatory amendments and administrative improvements. Support Client Managers and Sr. Leaders with initiatives throughout the year, ensuring defects are identified, corrected, and tested while balancing highly prioritized requests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-7+ years of defined benefit/pension plan administration experience
- Experience in Project Management and/or Analytics
- Ability to run queries, analyze and organize large amounts of data and identify root cause and work towards solutions
- Ability to balance day-to-day management of several project related responsibilities and tasks including highly prioritized requests
- Demonstrate leadership ability with self-motivation and determination and ability to coach and mentor others
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills including ability to perform complex manual calculations within Defined Benefit Plan structures
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access and working experience with data analytics
- Client Management experience including requirement discovery and solution design
- 100% onsite presence
