Job Summary
Operate a cash register accurately while processing cash, credit/debit, EBT, WIC, gift cards, coupons, and checks. Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise across grocery, frozen, dairy, meat, and produce departments while assisting with unloading delivery trucks. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, retrieving shopping carts, and maintaining clean, safe store conditions including sales floors, restrooms, backrooms, and parking lots. Adhere to a uniform dress code and complete additional duties as assigned to support daily operations. Requires the ability to lift 20–50 pounds regularly and work extended periods standing or moving.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail or grocery experience
- Cash handling or POS experience
- Must Adhere to a uniform dress code
- Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift, and carry items weighing 20–50 pounds on a regular basis
- Items weighing more than 50 pounds require a coordinated team lift
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, and twist for extended periods
- Push and pull carts and equipment
- Exposure to cold, heat, and cleaning chemicals
