Job Summary
Penetration Tester responsible for expanding cybersecurity activities across the APAC market by conducting external/internal vulnerability assessments, performing penetration testing, and running social engineering phishing campaigns. The role involves internal research and development, OSINT usage, and working with Active Directory security principles. Strong emphasis on scripting (bash, PowerShell, Python), knowledge of network protocols and common web vulnerabilities, and familiarity with AD privilege escalation methods. Certification such as OSCP or related practical credentials and bug bounty/CTF experience are valued. The position offers opportunities to relocate to Group-IB’s Digital Crime Resistance Centers and to grow within a globally distributed, mission-driven cybersecurity organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Penetration Testing
- Knowledge on network protocols
- Knowledge of common network attacks and vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of common web vulnerabilities and exploitation (with focus on remote code execution)
- Knowledge and experience in working with OSINT skills
- Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) structure and security principles
- Familiar with common Active Directory (AD) privilege escalation methods
- Proficient in scripting in one of the following languages: bash, Powershell, Python
- Certification in OSCP or any relevant practical certification
- Active participation and success in bug bounty programs
- Experience in Capture The Flag (CTF) is a plus
- Previous discoveries of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) identifiers
