Job Summary
Senior Software Applications Project Manager to lead and coordinate large, complex internal software development and vendor integration projects. Requires 8+ years of experience, PMP certification, PMBOK and Agile experience, and the ability to manage both waterfall and agile projects. The role is hybrid with on-site presence 3-4 days a week in Draper, UT. Responsibilities include guiding cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, schedules, and budgets; driving project processes; coordinating communications among stakeholders; and applying project management techniques to improve success. Must have strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and SDLC understanding. Prefer Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or related field and experience with AI tools to enhance PM practices.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing complex software development and implementation projects
- PMP certification
- PMBOK and Agile experience
- Hands-on managing 3-4 small projects at a time
- Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Confluence
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Willingness to work with technical teams on technical aspects of project deliverables
- AI experience
