Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care. Conduct evaluations and treatments according to professional standards, develop care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments, and supervise assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes, utilization review audits, and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to grow the physical therapy program. This role supports the Intermountain Health operating model at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Acceptable driving record
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting
