Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, and treat patients with injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop care plans with specific goals, and educate patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams. Supervise assistants, aides, and students to ensure high-quality care, manage patient records, and complete billing accurately. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, quality improvement processes, and utilization review audits to drive clinical outcomes and program growth. Maintain current licensure, BLS certification, and the physical ability to transfer patients and operate complex equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
