Job Summary

Screen, test, evaluate, and treat pelvic health injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Collaborate with Urologists and OB/GYNs to create comprehensive treatment plans while educating, training, and supervising assistants, aides, and students. Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop care plans with specific goals, and ensure accurate documentation and billing. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, quality improvement audits, and program development to drive clinical outcomes. Requires current Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, and ability to lift and ambulate patients.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
  • Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
  • Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
  • May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
  • Experience or strong interest in pelvic health therapy
  • Comfortable treating both male and female patients
  • Passionate about working in a team-based, interdisciplinary setting
  • Committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
