Job Summary
Audio Evaluator to listen to German audio clips with region-specific accents (Austrian, Northern Germany, Rhineland, Alemannic/Swiss German, Bavarian) and evaluate them using a defined rubric. Role is remote, freelance contract, with project-based opportunities. Requires native German proficiency with deep knowledge of regional dialects and English proficiency to understand project documentation; must apply consistent, objective judgments and identify which recordings sound most natural relative to the target accents. Prior experience in audio evaluation is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Native level fluency in German with in-depth understanding of regional accents and dialects
- Fluency in written and verbal English to understand instructions, evaluation criteria, and project documentation
- Strong listening skills with ability to identify and differentiate subtle accent variations
- Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply them consistently during evaluation
