Job Summary
Pega System Architect to design and architect enterprise Pega-based applications and BPM/BRE solutions using PRPC. Responsible for architecture and design of business applications, ensuring the delivered solution meets customer requirements, and collaborating with project teams, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders. Requires hands-on experience with Pega workflows, rules, classes, templates, streams, data pages, activities, and UIs in PRPC, along with knowledge of PRPC architecture and design features. Works with clients in insurance and finance domains, and participates in Agile/Scrum projects. Skills span WebSphere/WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .NET, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE; Pega certifications (PCSA, PCDC, PCMC nice-to-have). The role involves sizing, scope/risk management, and training/support to technical and business groups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications
- Experience creating Pega workflows, defining rules, creating classes, developing templates, streams, data pages, activities, and UI's in PRPC
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience in the Software industry
- Experience working with enterprise clients
- Experience in insurance and finance domains
- Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented techniques and principles
- Exposure to technologies including WebSphere or WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .Net, Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL
- Partnered with clients ensuring requirements aligned with delivered solution
- Provided technical training and user support to technical and business groups
