Job Summary
Architect, configure, and deploy comprehensive end-to-end solutions leveraging the Pega Smart Investigate framework to streamline exceptions and investigation workflows. Design and implement technical solutions for Payment Operations, managing SWIFT messages, ACH, and wire transfers. Build scalable case management workflows, business process rules, and complex background processing components. Configure secure enterprise-grade integrations via REST, SOAP, MQ, and Kafka to link Pega with external banking ledgers. Enforce Pega guardrails, conduct code reviews, and optimize application performance by troubleshooting bottlenecks. Provide subject matter expertise on architectural direction and mentor junior engineers within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment. Requires 7+ years of Pega development experience and mandatory Pega Certified Senior System Architect certification.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on Pega development experience
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification
- Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) certification
- Minimum 7+ years of dedicated experience developing enterprise applications on the Pega PRPC platform
- Proven, direct hands-on project experience working with the Pega Smart Investigate framework
- Deep operational understanding of global Payment Systems and banking regulations
- Master-level knowledge of Pega Case Management
- Master-level knowledge of Enterprise Class Structure (ECS) design
- Master-level knowledge of Data Pages
- Master-level knowledge of Declarative expressions
- Master-level knowledge of UI rules
- Master-level knowledge of Report Definitions
- Strong experience handling SQL queries
- Strong experience with database indexing
- Strong experience with data mapping
- Strong experience with standard middleware connectivity protocols
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with modern Scrum frameworks
- Valid Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA / SSA) certifications
