Job Summary
Address one-on-one support needs and provide day-to-day problem-solving related to normalization and reintegration into the community for clients in PCMH/OTP Community-Based Services. Utilize best practices of assertive engagement, harm reduction, and peer support to engage with members in the community and facility. Embrace the recovery philosophy to promote a safe and inclusive recovery environment for clients. Requires a current AZ driver's license, clear motor vehicle record, and Certified Peer Support Specialist certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days). Minimum six months' experience in behavioral health and six months of personal recovery required.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Minimum of six (6) months' experience in Behavioral Health and/or Substance Abuse field
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders
- Current AZ Driver's License (Valid and in good standing)
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
- Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or able to obtain a CPSS certification within 90 days (3 months) of hire
- Must have Fingerprint Clearance Card
Desired Qualifications
- Addiction and Substance Use Disorders certification
