Job Summary
Listen to members and visitors while sharing recovery experience to establish a safe, welcoming environment at the center. Guide participants to available supports, including meetings, activities, recovery coaching, and telephone resources, while connecting individuals with community needs. Contribute to operations by setting up meeting rooms, greeting guests, making coffee, cleaning, and stocking supplies. Open and close the building in accordance with procedures for lights, music, and alarms. This part-time role includes evenings and weekends and requires personal experience in recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Personal experience in recovery
- Familiarity with recovery community center model
- Responsible and reliable with flexibility to meet changing needs
- Strong communication skills and passion for recovery
- Excellent personal and professional boundaries
- Must submit cover letter and resume to be considered for this position
- Must be available for evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Registered peer recovery coach preferred
