Job Summary
Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served to assist them in exploring and meeting their own recovery goals. Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture, ensuring each member's perspective is recognized and integrated into services. Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment for individuals experiencing mental health or addiction emergencies. On-call shifts with varying days as needed. Starting wage range is $23.00 - $25.76 based on geographic location.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Peer Certification
- California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA
- Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care
- Valid and current driver's license
- Personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
