Job Summary
The Peer Recovery Coach provides non-clinical services to help participants reduce substance use and support mental wellness, building trust and advocating for program participants. The role involves sharing life experiences, connecting clients to community resources, teaching recovery and coping skills, and coordinating with the case management team to support individualized recovery goals for a caseload of 16 at Beacon Square Apartments in Pontiac, MI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Peer Certification
- Lived experience of homelessness, mental illness, substance use disorder, recovery
- Team player, possess strong work ethics, professionally represent Lighthouse
