Job Summary

Provide immediate, on-site assistance to individuals experiencing mental health and addiction crises, delivering hope, encouragement, and practical support. Teach and reinforce coping skills, recovery strategies, and wellness tools while collaborating with therapists and the crisis team. Maintain a safe environment by complying with organizational health and infection prevention requirements, including providing immunization documentation and adhering to disease protocols. Hold a valid driver's license and possess personal lived experience in recovery from addiction, mental illness, or co-occurring disorders.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP) certification or willing to obtain certification
  • Must have personal, lived experience in their own recovery from addiction, mental illness, or co-occurring substance and mental disorders
  • Minimum recovery time of 1-2 years
  • Must have a valid drivers license

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in behavioral health, social work, case management, or related field
  • Training in crisis intervention
