Job Summary
Provides peer support and recovery training to individuals in outpatient behavioral health services; teaches recovery tools and life skills; models hope, personal responsibility, and self-advocacy; collaborates with the clinical team to coordinate services; advocates for participant needs and rights; maintains compliance with federal/state regulations and organizational policies; completes clinical documentation and participates in de-escalation training; requires Peer Employment Training and DE Peer Certification; works part-time with weekend, evening shifts in Wilmington, DE; strong communication and confidentiality skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of Peer Employment Training thus obtaining Certification as a Peer Support Specialist required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
