Peer Support Specialist I

Peer Support Specialist I provides peer-based recovery coaching and support to individuals receiving services, teaches recovery and life skills using recovery tools, and advocates for participant goals. Works with the clinical team to coordinate services, maintain compliant documentation, and help create a recovery environment. Requires staying current with federal/state regulations and company policies, ability to de-escalate and communicate effectively, and willingness to travel when needed. Role emphasizes lived experience with mental health and/or substance use services, engagement in a recovery partnership, and contributing to a supportive, community-focused care environment.
