Job Summary
Peer Support Specialist I provides peer support and recovery training to individuals in outpatient behavioral health services, collaborates with clinical teams, teaches recovery and life skills, and helps create a recovery environment while advocating for participant rights. The role requires completion of Peer Employment Training and certification as a Peer Support Specialist, plus lived experience with mental health and/or substance use services. Duties include engaging participants in recovery partnerships, documenting in compliance with regulations, coordinating services to help participants achieve goals, and maintaining confidentiality. Evening shift (4:00 PM–12:30 AM) in Wilmington, DE with a strong focus on advocacy, relationship-building, and applying recovery-oriented tools; includes benefits and opportunities for professional development. Required Qualifications
