Job Summary
Engage members in Independent Living Skills activities, health promotion, personal assistance, and crisis management to foster community integration and self-sufficiency. Monitor and document member progress while managing daily caseloads and completing required documentation. Utilize shared lived experience to support recovery within a behavioral health environment. This role requires a 40-hour shift from 7a-3:30p (Tues-Sat) and includes benefits such as medical plans, 401(k) matching, and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- at least 6 weeks of behavioral health employment experience
- Peer Employment Training and Arizona State Peer Certification
- Self-Identify as a Behavioral Health recipient in recovery for at least 1 – 3 years and/or first-hand experience with family members with serious mental illness and/or chronic disease
- pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events
- Valid AZ Driver License
- be 21 years of age
- minimum 4 years driving experience
- meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy
- valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Fingerprint Clearance card
- be able to apply for one within 7 working days of starting employment
- understand and utilize a recovery approach and philosophy
