Job Summary
Provide peer support services to individuals with serious mental illness in home and community settings, including emotional support, coaching and training, empowerment, and advocacy; collaborate to develop individualized treatment and coping plans; participate in interdisciplinary meetings when applicable; maintain documentation and perform tasks such as filing receipts and mileage into online platforms; requires GED or high school diploma, ability to complete 40-hour PSS training within six months, and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and mobility to perform related activities; wage range $16.25–$21.25 per hour for approximately 10–15 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- GED or high school diploma
- Ability to complete 40-hour Peer Support Specialist training within six months of hire
- Valid Class C driver’s license (or Class D if vehicle 8+ capacity)
- Reliable transportation
