Job Summary

Provide peer support to families and assist the AFY program's Case Management unit; conduct home visits, telephone reassurance, advocacy, and encouragement for clients and families in crisis related to substance use and mental illness. Facilitate Teen Enrichment groups, organize monthly educational workshops, and hold weekly adolescent groups. Transport clients using own vehicle if needed and complete timely progress notes and reports. Participate in team meetings, required trainings, and maintain flexible and hybrid scheduling, including possible evenings and weekends. Requires High School Diploma or educational equivalent; candidates in recovery with at least three years sobriety per funder requirements; must have access to an automobile and a valid NY driver’s license. Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer applications are necessary. Location: Central Islip, NY (11722). Required Qualifications
