Job Summary

Provide individual and group-based peer support to participants, educators, and community members using lived experience with psychosis. Maintain a caseload of approximately 40 participants, delivering 66% direct service hours monthly through weekly, biweekly, or monthly meetings. Facilitate socialization groups and co-lead Multi-family Groups on a bi-weekly basis, including transportation to appointments as needed. Advocate for participant perspectives during case discussions, team meetings, and IEPs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Create and maintain resource materials, ensure timely clinical documentation, and assist with community outreach and education efforts. Comply with federal regulations and HIPAA standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Driver's License
  • Lived experience with mental health conditions
  • Willingness to work outside of an office setting, in the community and homes of participants and across multiple program settings as needed
  • Able to attend Team Meetings Mondays 1pm-3pm
  • Able to rotate in co-facilitating MFG Groups on a bi-weekly basis Wednesdays 5:00pm-7:30pm
  • Open to working some afternoon/evenings 2pm – 6pm
  • Must clear background check for a Community Care Licensed facility, including physical, TB, and drug test

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting people of varying cultural & ethnic backgrounds in navigating the mental health system
  • Lived experience with psychosis
  • Working knowledge of peer support roles and the history of service user movements
  • Familiarity and knowledge of Sonoma County
  • Spanish Speaking
