Peer Specialist (CRPA)

Collaborate with individuals to develop person-centered recovery plans and link patients to community support services. Teach coping skills, problem-solving techniques, and appropriate recovery methods while assisting with benefits applications and Wellness Recovery Action Plans. Provide non-clinical crisis support following hospitalization or incarceration, accompany individuals to court and medical appointments, and facilitate self-advocacy to combat stigma. Articulate personal recovery goals using lived experience and refer families to healthy leisure opportunities. Maintain reporting records, consult with professionals, and participate in program committees. Represent the agency to the community and perform quality assurance activities. Full-time role in Utica, NY, with a sign-on incentive up to $1,500 and an hourly range of $18.67 to $21.36. Requires CRPA certification within six months and a valid New York State driver's license.
