Job Summary
Provide peer-support services to clients experiencing homelessness and in recovery, including facilitating skill-building, referrals, and coordinating care with the clinical team to support housing and recovery goals for individuals and couples. Act as a liaison between clients and community providers for housing, job assistance, and related treatment services; educate on self-help techniques and coping strategies; assist with attending appointments (e.g., HRA, Social Security); participate in interdisciplinary team meetings; provide emergency first aid/CPR as needed; and perform related duties to support holistic client needs.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/ GED and Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) required
- training and/or experience in homeless services, substance abuse treatment and mental health services
- Bilingual abilities a plus
- Basic computer literacy required
- CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR
- Vaccination Required
