Job Summary
Use your lived recovery experience to build trust, model hope, and provide recovery coaching, encouragement, and linkage to resources across the treatment continuum. Deliver both individual support and group facilitation for individuals and family members while partnering with community Drug Court teams. Connect clients to mutual support groups and professional services, working independently in the community alongside a multidisciplinary team. Requires a high school diploma, two years of personal recovery, and a CRSS credential (or ability to obtain it within one year). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory for travel between service sites and court appearances. Full-time employment includes ongoing training, supervision, and support toward the CRSS credential.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalency
- At least two years of personal recovery from substance use, mental health, or a co-occurring condition
- willingness to share your story to help others
- Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) credential
- willingness and ability to obtain CRSS credential within one year of hire
- Strong interpersonal skills
