Peer Recovery Support Specialist

Job Summary
Provide personalized supports to justice-involved clients, using lived-experience to navigate resources and goals per the client’s service plan. Facilitate bimonthly or monthly groups to build skills and connect clients to community resources. Conduct care coordination addressing social determinants of health, including access to primary care, recovery groups, behavioral health homes, medication-assisted treatment, and employment. Utilize PRSS credentialed practices for coaching, mentoring, and role modeling to identify needs, recovery goals, and opportunities for continued education or employment. Work primarily in SAGE offices with potential remote opportunities; travel across Maricopa County to SAGE clinics and sites; equipment provided by SAGE.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) credential via an AHCCCS-recognized credentialing agency. Forensic PRSS credential preferred.
- Minimum 1 year in self-managed recovery.
- Must have current Fingerprint Clearance Card, maintain vehicle insurance and clean driving record, and pass background check.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
