Job Summary
Part-Time Peer Recovery Specialist for the Carroll County Crisis Response Team in Westminster, MD. Provide mobile crisis services including on-scene assessments (danger, suicide, environmental), crisis intervention and stabilization, and development of crisis plans. Serve as the on-site clinical resource, partner with families, friends, and community providers, and create referral recommendations using agency and community resources. Collaborate with local law enforcement and other providers; complete thorough documentation and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Schedule is weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with overnight options; compensation ranges from $20.00–$22.00/hour without certification and $23.00–$24.00/hour with certification. Requires HS diploma/equivalent, CPRS certification or willingness to obtain within one year (Santé pays for certification if needed), at least two years in full recovery, and three years of lived experience with related conditions. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to be certified within one year
- At least two years in full recovery AND three years of lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder
- Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance
