Job Summary
The Peer Recovery Specialist assists clients with access to recovery-oriented substance use and mental health treatment, providing support across community systems and frameworks of care. This role involves engaging with individuals, assisting with treatment access, and addressing barriers to recovery while embodying a recovery-focused model.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
- Active and unencumbered peer recovery certification required in one of the following: CPSP, CPRC-A, CPRC, NCPRSS
- Minimum one (1) year in recovery required
- Valid Indiana driver's license preferred
Additional Requirements
- Mobile Crisis Service Area requires one (1) full year of experience as a certified peer specialist
