Job Summary
As a Peer Recovery Coach (On Call / Per Diem) at Telecare, you will engage and inspire members served, facilitating conversations to help them meet their recovery goals. You will provide consultation to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture, respond to emergencies with high engagement and de-escalation skills, and assist clients in navigating mental health and addiction challenges. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Peer Certification, completion of Peer Support Training, and experience in the Behavioral Health system. The role may involve using a company vehicle to transport clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Peer Certification must be maintained throughout employment
- Successful completion of Peer Support Training / Certified Peer Specialist or Peer Employment Training within one (1) year of hire
- Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
Additional Requirements
- Internal applicants and applicants employed with Telecare in the previous 12 months would not be eligible for sign-on bonus
