Job Summary
Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members to explore and meet recovery goals within Telecare’s Recovery Centered Clinical System, providing consultation to promote a recovery-oriented culture and employing de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment during mental health/addiction-related emergencies. This on-site, part-time role at Telecare’s Portland program includes driving clients to appointments when needed, with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Peer Specialist = Oregon's Traditional Health Worker Certification
- One (1) year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges
- Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
