Job Summary
Provides direct home-based services and training in skills of daily living to clients in the Manhattan Supportive Apartment program. Responsibilities include teaching personal hygiene, laundry, apartment cleaning, budgeting, meal planning and preparation, self-preservation and safety in living units, administering the client cooking safety test, supervising medication administration per policy, documenting client progress, and supporting recovery goals. Also involves monitoring apartment maintenance, escorting clients as needed, facilitating groups, and reporting incidents to supervisors. Requires lived experience with mental health, substance use, or homeless services; NYCPS certification preferred; high school diploma or GED preferred; strong English communication and basic computer/data entry skills.
