Job Summary
As a Peer Navigator, you will provide mentorship and support to youth (ages 14-21) in NJ's foster care system using your lived experience. Responsibilities include engaging and empowering youth, connecting them with necessary resources, assisting in the development of personal goals, maintaining communication logs, and attending supervision and appointments. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and be relatable to the youth, demonstrating empathy and understanding. A valid driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least a GED or High School Diploma
- Lived experience in the child welfare system
- Valid driver's license in good standing
