Job Summary
Peer Mentor role supporting transitions for young adults with autism spectrum disorders and/or other learning disabilities. Provide guidance through college experiences, career exploration, and developing independence. Varied shifts including live-in, day, evening, and weekend; paid training; opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions. Located in Cobleskill, NY with campuses in Mayfield and Albany as part of The Arc Lexington's Transitions program. Emphasis on making an impact in students’ post-high school journeys while balancing personal interests.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED is required
- Be enrolled in a College course or a recent college graduate is preferred
- Valid NYS Driver's license with 2 years' experience is preferred
