Peer Engagement for Jews of Color

Part-time Peer Engagement Fellow for Jews of Color in Baltimore. Responsibilities include building and sustaining a relational network through one-on-one conversations, designing and facilitating gatherings for the focus community, coordinating with Network staff and fellow engagers, participating in trainings and professional development, bringing insights to strengthen inclusive practices, collaborating with staff through referrals and learning, tracking outreach in the CRM, and managing a modest budget for relational meetings and events. Ideal candidates demonstrate lived experience, strong relational skills, experience convening or organizing small groups, ability to navigate both community-facing work and organizational collaboration, comfort with ambiguity, and alignment with inclusive, diverse Jewish identities. Formal Jewish education or nonprofit experience is not required. Compensation is $25 per hour, 8-12 hours weekly (average 10), with eligibility for MD Sick & Safe Leave; hybrid in-person/remote work activities with a mix of community meetings, in-office, and at-home work.
