Job Summary
PICU/Peds Nurse Residency program for new graduates within Mercy's Pediatric/PICU unit. Involves unit-specific residency training, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and hands-on care in a family-centered environment. Full-time night shift with potential to float to other units as needed. Offers: tuition assistance up to $16,000, loan forgiveness up to $20,000, Benefits from day one, and RN bridge program. After residency, night shift is required for at least 3 years. Must be eligible for MO or compact-state RN licensure within 90 days of graduation; BSN preferred. Includes shift differential pay and opportunities for growth within Mercy Hospital system.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)
- Experience: PICU/PEDS RN experience preferred
- License: Eligible to earn RN license in MO or compact state within 90 days of graduation
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
