Job Summary
Deliver compassionate, high-quality pediatric care using the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient support. Evaluate and uphold patient rights and confidentiality within a family-centered environment. Provide specialized unit-specific training as a new graduate RN transitioning into professional practice in the PICU/PEDS department at Mercy Kids Hospital. Requires a recent nursing degree (BSN preferred), current RN license eligibility in Missouri or a compact state, and BLS certification. Full-time night shift schedule with shift differential pay and benefits starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Eligible to earn RN license in MO or compact state within 90 days of graduation
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- PICU/PEDS RN experience
