Job Summary

Conduct clinical and secretarial duties for orthopedic physicians, including suture/staple removal, wound care, medication administration, and sterile field application. Schedule and precert MRI's, lab work, and surgeries while locating imaging results and test reports. Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies, and manage patient communications, reminders, and messages. Escort patients to exam rooms and provide patient education and handouts. Fill out disability, return-to-work, and insurance forms, obtaining necessary physician signatures. Travel locally to satellite offices as schedule requires. This full-time role averages 40 hours per week and requires ROT or CCMA certification within the first 90 days.

Required Qualifications

  • HS/GED
  • ROT or CCMA certification required by first 90 days of employment
  • Minimum one-year full-time clinical experience in healthcare
