Job Summary
Manage comprehensive pedorthic patient care under physician prescriptions, including patient assessment, treatment plan formulation, and implementation. Specialize in using footwear, shoe modifications, foot orthoses, and other pedorthic devices to resolve foot and lower limb problems. Demonstrate professionalism by fitting, fabricating, adjusting, or modifying devices to meet patient needs. Requires ABC or BOC certification, valid Class D driver's license, and good driving record. Full-time 40-hour schedule at Marshfield, WI.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed schooling necessary to become certified as a Certified Pedorthist
- Certification in Pedorthics through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC)
- Valid Class D driver's license
- Good driving record
- Accepted offer requires a drug screen
- Accepted offer requires pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in direct client care under the direct or indirect supervision of a privileged orthotic or pedorothic practitioner
