Job Summary
Assist the dental team in providing patient care by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and educating patients on oral hygiene. Support dentists during procedures while managing appointment scheduling and maintaining accurate patient records. Perform basic dental procedures under licensed dentist guidance. Requires 2-3 years of dental assisting experience with 1-3 years in pedodontics, CPR certification, and EDDA certification for Georgia applicants. Hourly compensation with competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of previous dental assisting experience
- 1-3 years of Pedodontics experience
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Georgia: CPR Certification
- Georgia: Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification
- Georgia: proof of formal training to expose X-rays
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus
