Job Summary
Urgent Care Pediatrician opportunity with an academic appointment in the Urgent & Express Care Division at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. Join a multi-site system with option to focus on Urgent Care, Express Care, or a hybrid model; work with a large team of pediatric physicians and APPs, access to on-site labs, x-ray, IV hydration, and EPIC EMR. Role emphasizes work–life balance, teaching/academic engagement through UMKC and University of Kansas Medical School, and a structured shift model (3–3.5 shifts per week) with generous PTO and retirement matching within a growing KC metro footprint.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified/eligible General Pediatricians
- Academic appointment involvement
- Experience with Urgent Care or Express Care models (optional with hybrid)
- Ability to work 3–3.5 shifts per week
